This guide walks you through the packages, the marriage license process, and everything else you need so your big day goes off without a single surprise.

A Little White Wedding Chapel has been marrying couples on Las Vegas Boulevard since 1951, when Charlotte Richards, “The Wedding Queen of the West,” opened its doors. Since then it’s hosted ceremonies for Britney Spears, Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, and Michael Jordan, and it’s probably the single most photographed wedding venue in the city. Not bad for a chapel that started with one woman and a vision.

Two things set it apart from every other chapel on the Strip. First, the Drive-Thru Tunnel of Love, a covered drive-up window where you can get married without leaving your car. It started in 1991 for a couple who had trouble getting out of their vehicle, and it’s now one of the most requested ceremony spots in town. Second, there’s the wide range of options: five indoor chapels, an outdoor gazebo, and Elvis-officiated ceremonies if you want a little extra Vegas flavor on your vows.

How to Choose Your Ceremony Package

As of this writing, the packages range from $150 to $695, plus a $100 add-on for Friday, Saturday, and other premium dates. Every package includes up to 10 guests, and you can add up to 10 more (20 total) for an extra $100. One thing to keep in mind: a minister fee (around $60) and a service surcharge covering tips, filing fees, and coordination typically get added on top of the listed price, so your final total will land higher than the number on the website. Here’s a quick breakdown of the most popular options.


Little White Chapel Ceremony ($150)

The classic. Traditional wedding music, your choice of a religious or civil ceremony, a witness if you need one, and a marriage certificate holder to take home. It includes up to 10 guests, but up to 20 guests (maximum capacity) can be added for $100. 


Pink Cadillac Ceremony

The Pink Cadillac needs no introduction. Get hitched sitting in the back of the Cadillac. It’s a Little White Chapel staple, honestly, and is their most popular package for a reason.


Drive-Thru Tunnel of Love ($150)

If getting married in the pink Cadillac isn’t your vibe, you can opt to bring your own car (great if you rent a classic convertible), or you can skip the car altogether and stand at their drive-thru window.


Elvis Tribute ($495) and Ride With the King ($695)

Thank you! Thank you very much. An Elvis tribute artist officiates, and “Ride With the King” puts you in the Pink Cadillac for a drive-thru ceremony with Elvis behind the wheel. About as Vegas as it gets.


Gazebo Ceremony ($150)

An open-air option with a white floral design and butterfly chairs. Couples often attach a “forever lock” to the fence afterward. Another Vegas tradition we love.


Chapel Amore ($450)

Chapel Amore is an intimate ceremony room with velvet chairs and a painted garden backdrop. Romantic and a little old-Vegas glam.

Getting Your Nevada Marriage License

This is the part people underestimate, and it’s the one detail that can throw off an otherwise perfect day. The chapel can perform your ceremony, but you have to walk in with a valid Nevada marriage license already in hand. None of it is complicated, but skip a step and you’ll be scrambling.

Here’s a rough idea of how it works:

  1. Fill out the online pre-application through the Clark County Clerk’s office. It’s valid for 90 days and speeds up your in-person visit considerably.
  2. Go to the Clark County Marriage License Bureau at 201 E Clark Ave, Las Vegas. It’s open 365 days a year, 8 a.m. to midnight, holidays included, and you don’t need an appointment.
  3. Bring valid government-issued photo ID for both of you. Originals only, no photos, no copies.
  4. Pay the license fee. It’s $102 as of this writing, with a small processing fee if you’re paying by card.
  5. Receive your license and head to the chapel. Nevada has no waiting period, so you really can get married the same day you land.


A few details worth knowing ahead of time: both of you need to appear in person together (there are limited exceptions for hospitalized or incarcerated applicants), there’s no blood test requirement, and the license stays valid for a full year. If either of you has been divorced or widowed, you’ll need to know the date and location, though you don’t need the actual paperwork on hand. Same-sex and international couples are welcome, and the process is identical for everyone, no extra hoops.


Planning Your Day: Timing, Guests, and What to Bring

A few practical things worth sorting out before you show up.

  • Book ahead for weekends. Fridays, Saturdays, and other premium dates carry a $100 surcharge and fill up fast, especially around holidays.
  • Know your guest count. Standard packages cap at 10, with room for up to 20 for an extra fee. Bringing a bigger crew? Call ahead, since larger parties need special arrangements.
  • Bring a witness, or don’t stress about it. Nevada law requires one witness at the ceremony. If you don’t bring someone, the chapel provides one (or we can be your witness).
  • Double check the hours. The chapel generally runs from mid-morning into the evening, later on weekends, but hours shift around holidays, so confirm when you book.
  • Budget for extras. Photography, flowers, and video packages are usually add-ons, not included in the base ceremony price, so factor those in if you want more than the essentials.


Tips for a Smooth, Stress-Free Elopement

  • Get your marriage license the same day you land in Vegas, if your schedule allows it. It takes all the pressure off ceremony day.
  • Set on a specific chapel or ceremony style, like the Tunnel of Love or the gazebo? Book that exact package rather than a general reservation. Venues can’t always be swapped last minute, and you don’t want to find that out the hard way.
  • Bring a card for payment. Personal checks aren’t accepted, and cards carry a small processing fee.
  • Marrying internationally? Ask about apostille and certified copy requirements early. Most countries need a certified marriage certificate with an apostille from the Nevada Secretary of State to recognize the marriage abroad, and that process can take up to 10 business days.
  • Treat the listed prices as a starting point, not a final number. Between the officiant fee, service surcharge, and any add-ons, your total will land higher than the base package price. Better to know that now than at checkout.
