Celebrating 8-Years of Love

An hour is more than enough to capture something unforgettable, especially when you’ve got a space with plenty of variety to move through. You truly don’t need an entire day to have something to look back on. Charnae and Anthony hit 8 years together this past August. When Anthony popped the question, they realized quickly that they didn’t want a big production. They wanted something more meaningful, and true to who they are. So naturally they eloped in Las Vegas and booked us to capture some fun after their ceremony.

Elopements can be so freeing. No stressing over a guest list or seating charts, just something intimate to start the next chapter of your lives together.

Las Vegas Heat

We’ll be honest, this shoot came with a challenge nobody puts on a moodboard: it was 116 degrees. Yes. Actually 116 degrees. We met Charnae and Anthony downtown at 2:30 in the afternoon, right in the thick of an early August Vegas heatwave after their ceremony.

Vegas in August is no joke, so if you’re planning a summer elopement here, plan around it. Early morning or golden hour sessions dodge the worst of the heat, and honestly, a little iced coffee insurance never hurts so we stopped at Starbucks for a horchata iced shaken espresso.

What We Got Done in One Hour

The crazy part is that this entire gallery happened in a single hour. We wanted this session to show exactly what’s possible on a time crunch. Maybe you’ve got a ceremony booked and just want an hour of photos and content before or after. Maybe you’re not trying to build a whole day around this, you just want it documented well. Either way, one hour downtown is genuinely enough time to walk away with a gallery that feels full, not rushed.

We moved through a few locations, a dramatic red carpet staircase for some fun candid shots, a casino lounge for a more relaxed, in-the-moment feel, and quick detail shots of the rings and the little “Just Married” fan.
